Express Entry Process

1

Create an Express Entry profile

Submit your profile to the Express Entry pool by providing information about your skills, work experience, language ability, education, and other details.

2

Receive a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score

Your profile will be ranked in the Express Entry pool based on your CRS score, which considers factors like age, education, work experience, and language skills.

3

Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA)

If your CRS score is above the cutoff in an Express Entry draw, you'll receive an ITA for permanent residence.

4

Submit your application for permanent residence

After receiving an ITA, you have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence, including all supporting documents.

5

Get a decision on your application

If approved, you'll receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and a permanent resident visa (if required).
